FIND THE RIGHT SIZE
Finding the right shoe size can sometimes be difficult.
The sizing of our shoes, boots and sandals may vary from style to style, so unfortunately, we do not have one standard size guide that applies to all our products. Our products are made at different factories, which means that the measurements of the soles may vary.
Where possible, we indicate in the product description whether a style runs larger or smaller than expected and whether we recommend choosing ½–1 size up or down from your usual size, depending on the style.
Look for this information on the product page
For each style, where possible, we provide information about how the shoe fits in terms of size, overall fit and instep. This makes it easier for you to choose the right size.

When you receive your new shoes
They’ve arrived – your lovely new purchase from Copenhagen Shoes, and naturally, you can’t wait to wear them. Before you take them out for the first time, we would like to share a few helpful tips about leather, sizing and fit.
New shoes often need a little time to adjust to your feet, and it can sometimes be difficult to tell whether the fit is just right. Follow these tips to get the best possible experience with your new shoes.
|
1 Walk around at home Wear your shoes around the house, preferably on a carpet, to protect the soles in case you need to return them. |
2 Wear socks Avoid trying on your shoes with bare feet. Wear the type of socks you would normally wear with them. |
3 Try on both shoes Always try on both shoes or boots and walk around in them for at least 5 minutes. |

Do the shoes feel a little tight? It is completely normal for new shoes or boots to feel slightly tight at first. Leather will gradually mould to the shape of your foot. A shoe or boot can give a little across the instep and in width. However, leather naturally has its limitations and will not stretch in length. If the shoes or boots feel very tight, we recommend choosing one size up. |
Do the shoes feel loose? If the shoe feels tight at the heel and/or around the toes, there is a good chance that the size you have chosen is too small. In this case, we recommend choosing one size up. If the shoe or boot feels loose at the heel and/or around the toes, we recommend choosing one size down. |
